Logic3 Top Drive Wheel
The Logic3 Top Drive wheel is an 8" (20.5cm) diameter steering wheel for the Xbox compatible with all driving games, featuring vibration feedback, contoured wheel with rubber cushioning, analogue racing pedals, weighted base for extra stability, and 270 degree wheel rotation. What does this all mean? Well, I'll explain it all.
The 8" (20.5cm) diameter is how much the length is from the left to right when measured at the center. So you can imagine, its a pretty small wheel. The wheel is compatible with any racing game on Xbox, such as RalliSport Challenge or Project Gotham Racing. Vibration feedback means that you will feel the bumps and jumps just like you would if you played with a gamepad. Rubber cushioning gives you a better grip on the wheel. The pedals are analogue meaning that depending on how hard you press down on them, that is how fast you will go or slow down. The weighted base helps the foot pedals stay in place and the 270 degree wheel rotation means you can turn that wheel that much before it won't go anymore.
The overall design of the Top Drive wheel is very nice. Logic3's goal was to create a small but comfortable wheel and they suceeded. The only turn off is that it does not have a stick shift, one of the reasons it is so small. So all those Manual freaks out there should look elsewhere, while all you Automatic freaks are in driving heaven.
Overall, the Top Drive Wheel performs well. The grip is good and the turning is responsive. Tested it with Project Gotham Racing and it handled like a charm. If any of you are skeptical about wheels then stop right now and try one out. They give the game a completely new feel. Logic3 did a great job with the Top Drive Wheel.
