MadCatz MC2 Racing Wheel and Pedals

Buy it. This concludes our review. What you want details? Fine, although there is no need for them. Put simply, this is the best wheel out there and you owe it to yourself to pick one up! As we all know, MadCatz is one of if not the best 3rd party peripheral manufacturer out there and they hardly dissapoint.

The look of the MC2 is simply beatiful with a sleek combination of metallic, black, and green with a nice glossy finish to give it that 'cool' look. The MC2 is probably the largest wheel on the market but hey, this is Xbox, bigger is better. The wheel fits nicely on top of your legs and is comfortable for long play sessions. Another plus for this wheel is that it includes a stick shift on the right side, so no driver will feel left out.

In the middle of the wheel is the D-pad which is in the shape of a circle which might be a little hard to get used to, hell I didn't even notice it till a few minutes into my first test drive. :) The buttons are divided equally meaning the X, Y, and Black buttons are on the right side of the wheel while the A, B, and White buttons are on the left. And lets not forget the rumble freaks, the MC2 doesn't settle, it includes rumble for a more realistic driving experience but thankfully it doesn't go overboard. The pedals are very sturdy and well designed. These bad boys stay firmly in place thanks to MadCatz adding a larger base and throwing in some more weight on them making them feel like the real deal.

Well how does it handle you ask? Like a charm! MadCatz included a revolutionary system named Accudrive that allows the player to adjust the wheel's sensitivity to their liking making this a unique experience for anyone that plays, satisfying even the most picky drivers out there. For $59.99, you can't go wrong. All in all this is one of, if not the best wheel thus far by any company, ever! MadCatz had a winner on their shoulders... again. What are you waiting for? Go to your local Best Buy, Wal-Mart, EB, etc, and pick one up today!

Final Score: 10 out of 10
