News: Tom Morello stars in Guitar Hero III

Enclave
Enclave is an action/rpg focused on battles. Created by Conspiracty Entertainment and published by Black Label Games (part of Vivendi), Enclave comes out as a solid game that should be given a chance.
Don't think of this game as a brain-less hack n' slash game, instead, think of it as a tactical fighter. There aren't as many enemies as a hack n' slash, but there enough that you will have to plan your moves, instead of just swinging your sword. For every mission you pass (thr first 6) you will save a new character which are then accessable in the character selection screen. Each character has his or her weaknesses along with strenghts.
The AI is pretty good, for the most part. Enemies will plan out their attack against you. They have short and long range weapons which they will switch to accordingly, add to that taunting and you'll really get mad at these baddies.
The camera is like any other 3rd person game. Good, while not perfect. The camera follows you from behind and automatically making your see through so your body wont get in the way. To control your character,you use the Left Stick and the Right Stick. The face buttons are used to attack and jump and aim your bow, etc.
Throughout the levels, you will find gold. This gold can then be used to purchase upgraded or new weapons to aid you on your quest. Saving is done when you pass an entire level. No midway saving here folks. So here are some wise words; choose the right character for the job and take your time, or its game over for you my friend.
Graphically, Enclave is impressive. Real-time lighting and shadows add to the atmosphere of the game. The design of the homes and country side is superb. Richly detailed walls, floors, etc.. make you feel as if you are in the game. Characters are well modeled and animate nicely. Cut-scenes are average (like most other games) and help move the game along. Overall visually, Enclave is above average.
Sound is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound which makes you feel like you are actually fighting off the enemy. Although the music is somewhat repetitive, it is good, which balances things out a bit. The sounds of weapons banging off an enemy or a wall all sound realistic. Different effects have different sound. Every sound varies in the game. Swords sound different than a mace or an arrow. Voice acting is average, which is better than it being bad like other games. It could have used some work but we all know how hard it is to find good voice acting for videogames since most actors tend to over react their voices for some odd reason.
Overall, Enclave is a game the should definitely be checked out by those that like Adventure games. Not everyone might like it, so if you aren't sure, rent it first. Great visuals, good gameplay and sound help Enclave into the above average category.
