NICK KANG
32, half asian, half caucasian, all attitude. He’s tough, honorable and cool as a bullet. Kang never met a hot chick he didn’t like or a crook that didn’t need his ass kicked. After his father’s murder, Nick’s mother raised him on the streets of Hong Kong. Now he’s a cop on a crusade, back in L.A. Kang is a consumate detective, but remains a lone wolf in the department, because where Nick goes, collateral damage follows. Nick is a go to man, and knows that being reinstated to the Chief’s task force is his only chance of redemption, and saving the city he’s grown to love.
CARY KANG
Of the Kang brothers, he’s definitely the more level headed of the two. Even though he’s the younger brother, Cary has always been the more responsible one. Cary grew up alongside Nick on the mean streets of Hong Kong so you could definitely say he knows a thing or two about self-defense. In fact Cary owns his own chain of dojos spread all over the city of Los Angeles. Always calm and collected, Cary is the Yin to Nick’s Yang
ROSIE
Sugar and Spice and everything nice? Not with this hotblooded, strong, Latin Woman. Born into the gangs, hustle and mean streets of East L.A., but now resurrected into the LAPD, Rosie is ready to fight for what’s good and right. She plays it by the book, and whenever her counterpart Nick Kang doesn’t, she is not afraid to check him. Armed with a wealth of knowledge, savvy computer skills and a ton of desire, Rosie is always at the ready with a sage piece of advice, encouragement, or when necessary a quick nip at Nick’s overinflated ego.
THE CHIEF
Chief of Detectives Wanda Parks, 51, tough, ambitious in the war against crime, but fair. She’s also got a soft spot for Nick but only because he gets the job done. She’s a self made woman in a man’s world who doesn’t tolerate any bullshit and watches Nick like a hawk. If he screws up, it’s her ass. Nobody messes with her.
RAFFERTY
Lt. Don Rafferty, 51, was Nick’s murdered father’s partner. Wise and hardened by "the job," Rafferty is an old school cop who knows the secret workings of L.A.’s underbelly like the back of his hand. But don’t let his "nice guy" image fool you. It’s rumored Rafferty’s really a rogue cop, and he knows more about the murder of Nick’s father than meets the eye.
ROCKY
You don’t want to mess with Rocky "the Terrible" Grozny. He’s a cruel, determined, smartass ex-KGB agent who’ll stop at nothing to build his criminal empire in the land of the free. Being a former spy, Rocky knows how to get information and use his black ops connections to get the job done. Rocky is a one man crime wave who’s handiwork includes kidnapping, torture and murder. Watch your back with this guy.
ANCIENT WU
Ancient Wu, age ? is the rich, mysterious patriarch of L.A.’s oldest criminal Triad. Wu is a direct descendant of Genghis Khan, and a wizened master of ancient Chinese magic and fighting skills. Wu governs his organization with an iron fist, but he is impressed with Nick’s shao-lin kung fu skills. Wu remains always one step ahead of the frustrated detective, and won’t hesitate to use his magic to baffle any foe.
BIG CHONG
"Teflon Chong" as he is known around Chinatown, bops his fat ass around the streets like he is untouchable. And to some degree he is. This mean s.o.b. runs the Wu Triad with an iron fist, and up ‘til now, the Feds haven’t been able to make a single charge stick to him. Chong loves the girlies, and the girlies love his fat ass belly and his fat ass bankroll. Everyone knows Big Chong loves to party and have tons of fun, but if you cross him....
JIMMY FU
Jimmy’s just a small time gangster. He usually just runs contraband and stolen collectibles under the cover of his ‘business’ Dynasty Imports. Jimmy’s not too ambitious, he tends to keep his criminal operations on a smaller scale to avoid too much unwanted attention, until recently that is. Lately, Triad bosses have had him doing collection work. He’s been ordered to play rough, and he doesn’t like it one bit. Busting heads all over Chinatown is only going to bring to cops down on him, and he knows it’s going to be his ass on the line.
